The nickel plating on this chain has been done to each component before being assembled and then inspected to ensure a full coverage and a smooth surface to for the longest working life possible and to prevent chemical attack along with stress cracking. Nickel plated roller chain is very useful in humid and slightly corrosive applications where a normal roller chain won't hold up. Premier Series #50 nickel plated roller chain features the same high strength as the normal Premier Series #50 roller chain does. #50 nickel plated roller chain is commonly supplied as 10ft boxes including one connecting link per box.
